About

Jean Orange is an artist who discovered his passion for drawing at fifteen. After perfecting his gift at the Beaux-Arts and the Royal Academy of Paris, he was honored to be able to work as an illustrator for the Journal Le Monde. It was there that he made his greatest encounter, that of the designer Cabu, who would leave him with an unforgettable imprint of greatness!

A few years later Jean turned to pastels and then to gouaches, discovering the technique of roller painting, which he adopted without hesitation.

He then abandoned his creations on paper to devote himself entirely to acrylic roller painting, which then became his favorite. He always paints to the sounds of soaring and loud music, like that of Pink Floyd or Dire Straits, to name but a few.

Jean is an artist who lives for his art. It vibrates to the rhythm of his works whose colors will never fade because they are all applied with love and devotion. This is how he transmits this wonderful nameless baggage to his buyers from different countries.

Jean finds his greatest inspiration at night, sensitive to the calm of the sleeping world. He then settles into his workshop where everything talks about him, often joined by his little bulldog, who comes to accompany his master on his colorful journey.

If you met him one day, he would tell you that his most beautiful works are born in his moments of great suffering, which he exorcises by putting his paint on the canvas. No doubt he would then ask you this question:

“Can you perceive the suffering, the experience or the questions of a painter, through the colors and shapes that he transposes on his canvas? »
